Security PS was co-founded by long-term co-workers Steve A. Rodgers and Kris L. Drent. The company developed just after the dot-com bust when security unquestionably became more than a luxury - it was a necessity.
Drawing from a wealth of industry experience of reducing corporate information security risk, Rodgers and Drent customized a company with a distinct purpose. An independent viewpoint combined with a methodology that identifies and addresses root cause security issues results in world-class consulting to strategically address the security issues that clients face.
By the second full business year, the company's growth was evidenced with revenues increasing over 351% and staffing by 350%. The company has continued growth into 2005 with revenues increasing 211% in the first half of the year when compared to the previous year.
Rodgers, President and Chief Executive Officer, has 15 years experience in information technology focusing on information and network security consulting. Rodgers is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) who delivers timely cost effective independent assessment services.
Drent, Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer, has ten years experience in application and network security and maintains his CISSP status. Drent uses his skills to develop application security assessment practices that provide progressive results for those with application business risk.
Both previously worked as application and network security specialists for Greenwich Technology Partners (GTP), Lucent Technologies and International Network Services (INS).
