Security PS was founded in 2002 in the wake of the dot com bust by two senior information security consultants. While conventional business wisdom seemed to
warn entrepreneurs Kris Drent and Steve Rodgers about the dangers of pushing off on their own in such a volatile time, their intuition about creating a specialized
information security consulting firm was soon proven to be spot on.
Security PS grew quickly as reputation spread of the small company that delivered huge. As one of the first companies to develop a methodology specifically
for assessing and addressing application-layer risks, Security PS established itself as a company that could help clients stay ahead of emerging threats.
Today, Security PS continues the legacy of delivering world-class information security consulting in the areas of application security, network security, and information security training.
