Kris L. Drent, CISSP

Kris L. Drent, co-founder of Security PS, has served as the firms Chief Executive Officer since January 2008.  Merging an extensive understanding of application and network security with extensive business knowledge his leadership has helped grow Security PS into a top tier information security consulting firm.

Kris is a nationally recognized expert and presenter on application security topics that are critical to client business environments. He pioneered the development of the specialized web application assessment methodology and training materials for the firm’s application security practice.  Under his leadership and direction, this practice has performed successful engagements for some of the world’s largest financial service companies. 

Prior to co-founding Security PS, Kris served in various information security consulting capacities for Lucent Technologies and Greenwich Technology Partners.

Steve A. Rodgers, CISSP

Steve A. Rodgers co-founded Security PS in 2002 and serves as the President and Chief Networking Officer.  He has helped grow the firm from a startup consultancy to the most recognized vendor independent application and network security consulting firm in the Midwest. 

Steve plays a vital role in helping to build the firm’s strategic relationships with clients as well as business partners.  In addition to this role, he also provides strategic and tactical direction which has allowed the firm to grow revenues and increase profitability since its inception.

Prior to Security PS, he served in various information security consulting and leadership capacities for International Network Services, Lucent Technologies, and Greenwich Technology Partners.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University.

Thomas Badgett

As the Director of Professional Services, Thomas leads the various consulting practice areas and ensures the delivery of Security PS services adhere to the highest professional standards. His extensive project management background and leadership abilities have allowed the firm to consistently deliver client projects on-time and on-budget. In addition to leading the consulting practice areas and managing key client relationships, Thomas has lead several key company initiatives that have allowed the firm to grow revenues and profitability.

Prior to joining Security PS, Thomas served various leadership roles in application development and account management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Kansas State University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University.

Stacey Stitt

Stacey is responsible for resource planning and forecasting for all financial aspects of the company. She also directs Security PS’s human resource initiatives and leads the company’s administrative team. Prior to joining Security PS as Director of Operations, Stitt was with Sprint Corporate Events Marketing where she managed process improvements, budgets, staffing issues, and measurements for the profitability of events. Stacey has a degree in Microcomputer Technology from Computer Power Training Institute in Perth, Western Australia.

Bruce Marshall, CISSP, CISA

Bruce is an accomplished security consultant and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). As the Network Security Practice Manager, Bruce developed and maintains the consulting methodology that ensures consistent high quality testing, analysis, and results for Security PS clients. He has held the position of a Principal Consultant at International Network Services (INS), a Distinguished Member of Consulting Staff at Lucent Technologies, an IS Specialist for Comsol Inc., and others in the past decade. Mr. Marshall’s work on projects around the country has garnered praise from clients where his expertise and experience provided them solid and valuable results.

His knowledge of information security has also earned him the following certifications: Certified Information Security Auditor, (CISA), NSA Infosec Assessment Methodology (IAM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE: Security) for Windows 2003/2000/NT, Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Tom Stripling , CISSP, CISA

Tom is a seasoned web application security expert with an extensive background in application development, penetration testing, code review, and information security best practices. As the manager of the application security practice, Stripling has contributed significantly to the WAVE Assessment Methodology and continues to pass on his expertise to our clients through seminars, articles, and training events. He has spoken at numerous regional and national events, including the RSA and OWASP security conferences. His experience is supplemented by the following certifications (past and present):  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Windows 2000, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA).
