Overland Park, KS – March 16, 2006 – Security
PS, an information security consulting firm based in Overland
Park, KS, was nominated for the Greater Kansas City Chamber
of Commerce’s annual Outstanding Small Business of
2006 award.
“Information security, privacy and compliance are
critical issues that every company, big and small, faces
today. We offer a specialized service, and to be recognized
by our peers for this award is a strong validation that
we’re doing it right,” stated Steve Rodgers,
Security PS President.
Security PS was founded in 2002 by Steve Rodgers and Kris
Drent to assist companies in handling sensitive and confidential
information. They provide clients with unbiased assessments,
long-term security solutions and training for clients,
which range from banks and finance firms to healthcare
and government organizations.
Kris Drent, Security PS CTO, adds “offering clients

for the Outstanding Small Business of 2006 are further
narrowed to the Top 10 based on good business practices,
employee relations and service to the community.
